Senior Program

The Senior Program is available to anyone 55 and older and to the disabled. It offers activities such as bingo, games, arts and crafts, field trips, exercise classes, movies and ethnic lunches. In addition, the Center provides transportation to a doctor's appointment and health clinics.

Social Services

The Social Services Department offers support to families and individuals in the Elmwood area. These services are emergency food assistance, clothing, furniture applications, rental and utilities assistance and prescriptions. The Center provides assistance in filling out applications for government programs such as SSI, Food Stamps, AFDC and housing. The Center also offers workshops on domestic abuse, budgeting seminars and lead screening.

Youth Programs

The Youth Programs are designed to help young children and youth. These programs help youth to develop a more positive attitude about themselves and others. Tutoring and athletic opportunities are available throughout the week. In addition, arts and crafts and summer youth employment through the Providence/Cranston JTPA program are available.
